Lil' Dragons Program

Serving our youngest karate students (4-6 years), the Lil’ Dragons program seeks to provide an energetic, fun, activity-filled environment. Students will learn valuable age-appropriate self-defense, safety, and awareness skills as they build strength, coordination, and agility. Come join in and see how much fun and learning your Lil’ Dragon will experience!

Family Beginner Program

This beginning karate program is designed for students ages 7-13 and their parents if they would like to learn together! The Family Beginner Program is the Year One Pathway comprised of three 16-week rotations in which students will learn the basics of American Kenpo Karate and progress through 3 belt ranks as they learn and build proficiency. This first step program incorporates basics, self defense techniques, forms, and sets to help solidify the rudiments of our system. This program culminates in a Capstone Test at the end of the student’s third rotation as they graduate and are eligible to join our Family Intermediate Program.

Family Intermediate Program

As students enter into year 2, children ages 7-13 and their parents, begin taking the next steps into their American Kenpo Karate journey. Similar to Year One, students will work their way through three 16-week rotations, in which new skills are unlocked and deeper understanding of what they have already learned is achieved. Students will progress through three more belt ranks during this program moving from Orange to Advanced Orange, Purple, and Advanced Purple. The Intermediate program moves toward a Capstone Test at the end of the 3rd rotation and an invitation into our Family Advanced Program.

Family Advanced Program

Moving into Year Three, students have shown their ability to integrate the basics of American Kenpo and have acquired a significant amount of knowledge within the system. Students who are invited to take part in the Family Advanced Program will take their next steps toward Black Belt. Using the same format that students have become familiar with, there will be three 16-week rotations during which students will tackle new challenges, gain additional skills, and level up as they climb from Advanced Purple to Blue, Advanced Blue, and Green.

Apprentice Black Belt Program

Students who successfully complete the Family Programs will be invited to join our Apprentice Black Belt Program. Students will use the skills and abilities they have learned over the past three years to propel themselves along the path to Apprentice Black Belt. Entrance into the Apprentice Black Belt Program will see a departure from the 16 week rotations as students begin assimilating new information with what they have previously learned. Students will begin learning to pass their knowledge to new practitioners in a way that supports and solidifies their own understanding of their art. Progression through Apprentice Black Belt will begin at Green and continue through Beginning Brown Belt, Intermediate Brown Belt, Advanced Brown Belt, culminating with promotion to Apprentice Black Belt.

Adult All Ranks Program

Our Adult All Rank Program is open to new students through Black Belts over 14 years old. This program is designed to provide Teen and Adult practitioners a fun and engaging way to learn self defense, while building strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.
